Might be time to update your strapline now that Tuatara has won the supreme champion award?
The award Tuatara won was a new award for 2008 called Champion Brewery. This is awarded to the brewery with the highest average awards won across the beers they entered. To be eligible a brewery needs to have entered a minimum of three beers. Epic only entered two beers.
The Supreme Champion award Epic Pale Ale won is no longer awarded as it was from the previous competition NZ International Beer Awards.
Epic Pale Ale won gold and Best in Class again, the highest medal & trophy a beer can win at the 2008 BrewNZ Beer Awards.
