Released in December 2005, Epic Pale Ale made an immediate impact, winning Supreme Champion Beer of New Zealand in 2006. Since then it has gone on to collect major trophies and medals across New Zealand and Australia, while becoming the beer many people credit with getting them into craft beer in New Zealand.

More than 20 years later, it is still our best-selling beer.

Epic Pale Ale is brewed with US Cascade hops, giving it the distinctive character that has defined the beer from the beginning. Expect lychee, Turkish delight, rose water and citrus, backed by a firm bitterness and a clean, dry finish.

It was bold when we released it in 2005. Two decades later, it remains unmistakably Epic.
