bmackenzie (19), Wellington, New Zealand Date: Jan 5, 2007 Bottle from Regional. Nice fresh one! Resin of fresh hops comes thru in the aroma, it’s like smelling a bag of hops, slightly dusty which i haven’t got before, grapefruit, lemon, lots of grassiness. Dry non-dextrinous beer, wi th a soft malt and bittereness at the start. Fruit and hopiness of those brilliant American hops, grapefruit -lemon, a little spice and long pleasant lingering bitterness Overall 17/20 RateBeer.com
Blues, Brews & BBQ's - Mt Maunganui

By 5.30pm the place was packed and they were at least 8 deep at the bar, as far as the eye could see any way. We even had a volunteer that offered to wear the first ever Epic Bottle Label Bra. There was a lot of interest in this bra which my have had some influence in the increased Epic Pale Ale sales. Sales were up 60% over 2006. For more photos...
